All rooms are named after local golf courses and feature photographs and some historic detail of each. The décor is fresh but is in keeping with the style of the building. Views range from over the golf course, the Tay estuary and the hotel grounds. All rooms are en-suite with a shower or bath & shower, TV with limited satelite, hostess tray, iron & board & hair dryer. The hotel has private car parking, Plantation Bar & Restaurant where the emphasis is on fresh produce and friendly service.

We are a 2 minute walk to the sea front and excellent childrens play area. There is a cycle track along the sea front to Broughty Ferry with its wide selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. We offer function facilities for upto 150 people and have a licence for holding wedding ceremonies in the hotel. The banqueting suite is a baronial style with a wooden strutted roof.

Location

The hotel is situated in the sea side town of Monifieth on the 1st tee of the links coarse. The hotel is over 100 years old. We are situated 15 minutes from the centre of Dundee with its many attractions. The Discovery Experience, Camperdown country Park, Sensation Science Centre, McManus Galleries and 2 excellent theatres. Glamis Castle is near by and it is an excellent base for exploring the walks in Angus and Fyfe and the 67 golf coarses in the surrounding area.
